This season, the exquisite details of playfulness on the show floor reveal the urchin side of the designers. Au Jour Le Jour, Ellery, Emilia Wickstead, Marc Jacobs, and Stella McCartney made fun of horses, eyes, and other ghost prints and embroidery to make the original, very good-looking product instantly interesting. In addition to prints and embroidery, the flounces of Holly Fulton and Roksanda, and the bow adorning of Lanvin, Simone Rocha, and Toga, highlight the maiden's indulgence and grief but do not make any difference.
