Surgical wrapper fabric coated with a polymeric material on the strip. For a long time, plaster bandages have been used after orthopaedic surgery. Their disadvantages are that they are bulky and impenetrable. They must be removed when X-ray fluoroscopy is performed. They are fragile and cannot be filled with water. In the 1970s, people began to develop polymer bandages. This kind of bandage is coated with a special polymer material on the loose fabric belt and stored at low temperature. When used, remove the bandage, soak in water at room temperature for 30s, then the liner can be wound around the affected area, set within 10min, and reach the maximum intensity after half an hour. Less than half the weight of the plaster bandage, the strength is more than 20 times higher, breathability is higher than a hundred times. The bandage is milky white and has a porous surface. The use of this bandage can reduce the burden on the patient. The bandage can be filled with water and can be seen through X-rays for easy care.
